OnStage is the performing arts division of ESKLENCHEN, S.L., a Barcelona-based company focused on the development of cultural, artistic, creative and wellbeing projects with a contemporary and international outlook.

Within the ESKLENCHEN ecosystem, OnStage was created as the area specifically dedicated to the production, promotion, representation and development of high-level dance and performing arts projects.

Connecting International Artistic Talent with Theatres, Festivals and Institutions

Based in Barcelona and driven by an international vision, OnStage develops and produces ballet galas, touring productions, artistic collaborations and special projects alongside internationally acclaimed dancers and companies. The result is a portfolio of productions that combine artistic excellence, cultural sensitivity and a strong contemporary vision of the performing arts.

The project was founded with the aim of bringing world-class international dance closer to the Spanish and European cultural landscape through carefully curated, elegant and artistically meaningful productions.

EXECUTIVE DIRECTOR

Sergio Díaz

The executive direction of OnStage is led by Sergio Díaz, creator and developer of cultural projects with an extensive artistic and business background.

After more than a decade as a professional dancer, he went on to build an international career in the corporate sector, becoming part of a leading multinational company in the United States.

His professional journey brings together artistic sensitivity, international perspective and strategic vision, understanding culture as a powerful tool for connection, inspiration and the creation of human and artistic value.

Through ESKLENCHEN, he has promoted projects linked to art, culture, movement and international collaboration, always with a focus on quality, sustainability and the development of initiatives with a strong and distinctive identity.

ARTISTIC DIRECTOR

Alexandra Basmagy

The artistic direction of OnStage is led by Alexandra Basmagy, former dancer of the American Ballet Theatre and an artist with an extensive international career, whose experience and professional network represent one of the fundamental pillars of the project.

Her professional background, deep knowledge of the dance world and direct connections with leading dancers and institutions provide OnStage with an authentic artistic identity and a distinctly international projection.

Alexandra plays an essential role not only in the artistic curation of productions, but also in building relationships with artists, companies and collaborators from around the world.

Her vision defines much of OnStage’s artistic philosophy: excellence, sensitivity, elegance and respect for dance as a form of artistic and human expression.

ARTISTIC NETWORK & COLLABORATIONS

A Dynamic and International Network

OnStage operates through a flexible international network of dancers, choreographers and cultural collaborators. The company actively develops partnerships with theatres, festivals and artistic institutions both in Spain and internationally.

We also maintain an active collaboration with the Cultural Association El Carro, supporting initiatives related to cultural promotion, artistic exchange and the development of projects with cultural and social impact.
